AMARAN: tidak semua org suke akan corn beef nih. my mum and sis sampai muke cam nak muntah tgk corn beef. tatau la pesal. lebey kurang cam sambal daging jek.

Erm.. begini kisah nye. Dlm pukul 3 ptg gitu, kite terdgr bunyi kucing kat depan pintu. Die tgh memanggil2 saye. saye dgn berat hati lalu pegi bukak pintu.. tp slow2 la.. nnt die masuk rumah susah lak nak bawak die keluar. bukak2 je pintu, nampak sekor anak kucing oren. die mmg berusaha sgt nak masuk rumah kite. tatau la ape yg ade dlm umah kite tuh. last2 berjaye jugak. terus die meluru kat dapur. kite dah panik dah. caner la nak halau die keluar nih. so kite pon angkat la die.. die struggle sket... pestu letak die kat luar.. pestu tutup pintu.
kite bukak balik pintu dgn semangkuk susu utk die. tp takleh kasi masuk.. sbb nnt my mum marah. dahla byk brg2 yg serba putih dlm rumah nih. kalo kucing tu terkucil ke.. terberak ke.. my mum marah saye.. bukan kucing tu. so die pon duduk la luar. tp masih nampak cam berusaha nak masuk dlm rumah. tgn die try tolak2 pintu. tp tak terdaya. kesian pon ade jugak. tp apekan daya. tgk je la. pestu die dah cam give up.. die minum je susu yg kite kasi tuh. licin die minum. so kite masuk balik.. susu dah abih.. so kasi die air kosong je. mknn tade plak. tuan rumah pon lom mkn agie.. hahahah.
mmg selalu kucing dtg rumah kite. siap tunggu dpn pintu lagi. gerun jugak. ada je kucing dtg. selalu nye bukan kucing yg same. kot kot yg kucing dulu2 tuh bitau kwn2 die.. soh dtg rumah kite. nnt dpt mknn.. hohohoho...

Recipe of the Day: My Mum's Macaroni Soup

Ingredients for Tomato sauce:
Cooking oil
6 red onion cloves, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tin of tomato soup
1 tin of water
½ a can of button mushrooms, chopped in halves
Salt and black pepper to taste
Diced chicken meat
1 tbsp Cornstarch and water
Ingredients for Pasta:
Macaroni
Water
Salt
Directions:
Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the onion and garlic and, over a gentle heat, cook until the onions have softened and turned translucent. Next, add the diced chicken meat. Add salt to taste. Mix well. Reduce heat. Cover the saucepan with a lid. Wait for 5 minutes until the meat is cooked. Add 1 tin of tomato soup and 1 tin of water. Let it boiled. Add button mushroom. Let it simmer than add in mixture of 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce.
How to cook pasta?
Cook pasta in a boiling salted water. Ideally, you want to use about 1 litre of water per 100g of pasta. If you use too little water, your pasta will turn out starchy. Salt it generously about 1 tsp per litre. The water does not need to be at a rampant boil, but it should be boiling. If the pan boils over, turn down the heat a little; you'll reach a point where it will bubble boil and behave itself.
To serve, cook the macaroni, drain, and then onto bowls. Top each bed of pasta with tomato sauce and shower with garnishes.
Garnish:
Diced tomato
Red Chilies finely sliced

Recipe of the Day: My Mum's Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients for Bolognese sauce:
Cooking oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 tomatoes, diced
4 tbsp tomato sauce
2 cups of water
1/2 a can of button mushrooms, chopped in halves
1 tbsp strawberry jam
1 tbsp dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
Minced beef
1 tbsp Cornstarch and water
Ingredients for Pasta:
Spaghetti
Water
Salt
Directions:
In a large saucepan, heat the oil, add the onion and garlic and, over a gentle heat, cook until the onions have softened and turned translucent. Next, add the mince beef. Cover the saucepan with a lid. Wait for 5 minutes until the meat is cooked. Add diced tomatoes and stir through for 2 minutes. Add tomato sauce, 2 cups of water and button mushroom. Let it boil. Add in a tablespoon dried oregano, strawberry jam and salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer than add in mixture of 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce.
